In this position you will be responsible for the development, enhancement and maintenance of multi-tiered applications in the automotive services and aftermarket domain. Your
Responsibilities:
Lead and own all aspects of the software strategy, architecture and development for new and existing products, ensuring all business objectives are met.
Assist in the development of the product-line strategy by participating in the cross-functional product development team.
Collect and track all software defects, and ensure that they are corrected in an efficient manner.
Document the software strategy, architecture, and development in accordance with state of the art and best practice procedures and methods. Prepare designreviews and other engineering documentation as required.
Communicate clearly and efficiently all manners of project status, plans, and strategies to customers, the immediate team as well as senior and executive leaders.
Your competencies and
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required
Minimum 3 years experience in Component and System software design using Interface Driven methodologies
Minimum 3 years experience in full software development lifecycle: Requirements, Design, Implementation, Verification and Deployment
Minimum 3 years experience with software frameworks, interface driven patterns and practice (such as Java Eclipse, Visual Studio)
Minimum 3 years experience in package and deployment tools and paradigms
Programming experience in C+
and Java required
Visual Studio and Eclipse IDE experience required
Experience with IT development or software engineering practices or techniques like SDLC, Source Code Repository Controls (i.e. SVN),Interface driven development and strong separation of concerns
Experience in requirement defect tracking (i.e. JIRA)
Experienced in communicating at all levels of the organization, i.e.: technical team
