BACKEND RELIEF | 6A - 6P | 4 ON 4 OFF - Now Hiring

Position Overview:
To provide operational assistance and relief to Back End personnel, including Palletizer Operator, LSM Operator and Back End Maintainer.
Duties And
Responsibilities:
Assist in set-up and maintenance and operation of the flangers, beaders, light testers, spray machines, IBO's and palletizer.
Assist operators with can quality checks.
Operate Palletizer, LSM's, and Back End equipment in the absence of other Back End Operators & Maintainers.
Perform quality checks in LSM area while LSM Operator performs daily cleaning of LSM machines.
Perform visual checks of cans to ensure entire process is in compliance and take appropriate measure to correct the process when deficiencies are found.
Complete required paperwork and documentation such as process check sheets, logbooks, and maintenance check sheets.
Assist in other areas as needed to maintain a smooth flow of cans through the plant.
Maintain cleanliness of all work areas and follow all safety procedures and work practices Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned Minimum Requirements Strong mechanical skills.
Ability to read, understand and comply with SOP's.
Basic data entry and computer.
Ability to safely operate production forklift and maintain certification.
Thorough knowledge and understanding of quality can specifications.
Basic understanding of entire can making process.
Knowledge of safety regulations that apply to work functions.
High School Education/GED preferred.
Salary:
$76 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
